I would like to animate tearing up of these objects, but seperation needs to happen by the groups. I can normally use RBD glue stuff, seems to work but computationally very heavy. I know that I can use primitive SOP to seperate and move individual primitives if I plug a reference frame to second input of the primitive SOP. But that method seems to work on individual faces. So I am trying to find cheaper ways of animation of seperating objects. I do not need much physical interaction but the motion needs to be convincing, and I have quite a bit of groups in these.
