vorotron
I’d like to know more about operational mathematics involved with Houdini. Can anyone guide me to some resources on the internet or books. I’m finding it difficult to compute equations and expressions for normals and other attributes which require a procedural approach. Thanks in advance! Div
I would recommend you to buy Mathematics for Computer Graphics ( http://www.amazon.com/Mathematics-Computer-Graphics-John-Vince/dp/1846280346 )... You can also have a look to Peter Claes thread which list others useful books : Cheers...
DeehrBYU
There's a great 18 part tutorial on expressions here: http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1500&Itemid=132 I recommend it! Good luck to you. Oh, I just re read your post. Might not be what you're looking for. Maybe it will be useful to someone else though.
