CSN0309
hi~ looks like i got a problem, i attached a tiny grid on a movable surface, (like you see the pic below), so i got this grid to move, but my problem is that i can't get the position information and rotation information from this grid. I want to use those position and rotation information to drive other object, like a boat or something. So, has anyone got idea how to extract those information from this surface~?? aracid
Hi there you could just project one point using ur ray sop and then copy your boat onto that point, the copy sop will use the position of that point and if u activate "Point intersection normals" on the ray sop, it will keep the inclination of the grid. would that work for you? CSN0309
thank you aracid~ nice tip!!! select a point by grouping, and copy an object on this selected point. thank you
