DeehrBYU
Hi there, Ive poured over this for an hour or so and figure my time would be better spent posting this. Thanks to "roughsporty's" help, I am implementing a liquid nitrogen effect. however with my obj, the smoke keeps penetrating through before it even gets to the top. Very frustrating! I was able to do this with a cylinder type object, but with my modeled pot it is not working correctly. Thanks for any help. I have locked the file node so I am assuming everyone should be able to see my OBJ file. PotFinal.hipnc
aracid
Hey hey take a look at the file, I turned on the collision guides which exposed the problem of the simulation wasn't picking up the thin walls of the pot. - I shrunk down the size of the container to increase the resolution of the fluid simulation, i could of just lifted the number 40 to something higher but i didn't want to wait longer. - changed the relationships on the merge to left effect right, not mutual and lastly on the pyro solver - under advanced i activated the collision on volume and points. let me know if this doesnt work Hope that helps PotFinal.hipnc
DeehrBYU
Thanks for the help, Aracid. That works. I am still looking for the "collision guide geometry" checkbox however. If you could point me to that, that would be great! thanks.
