workflow with layer SOP

I have problem with layer SOP. In my project i working with crowds. I use instancing, my instance geo is character. Character consist body and props. From Maya i get geo with UV's, and i have textures on char and props. In houdini i add randomness in crowds over instancepoint() in shaders, but i have problem to add randomness in chars and props I need to have separate istance OBJ for it.

What should be in this case, Workflow, I have not got to put in SOP separate groups of primitives in the individual layers through layer SOP.
