LaidlawFX
Ok, so hopefully a quick question and answer. Can you include a VEX network into a Digital Asset for a shop shader? I want to be able to just use my shaders as an instance basis pulling from the VEX area instead of including all the VOPS fat in each of the shader nodes in the SHOP area as a digital asset. I do this normally in scene, but I want to make it a digital asset. I can't right click on it in the VEX network to add it to the digital asset of the shop node, which would make the most sense. I still want to be able to update it in Vops and not be in VEX code for visual helpfulness. The only possible thing I could imagine is to have a script run at the creation of the first instance of the shader to create all the nodes in the VEX network and then on the second one to check if it has already been created. I'm not sure if I could update this after by a regular asset means. I could imagine figuring this out on my own after a month, but a simple solution or any help would be appreciated. Ratman
Right click on your vex node and click on Operator Type Manager, on the Configuration tab you have the options to embed the vex node into an otl or the scene.
