aelzor Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) Hi, I've been trying to export a deformation/simulation to 3Ds Max using the FBX format.. however it doesn't seem to work at all. I only get the models at their initial position. Is there something I'm missing or is it even possible to export at all? Thanks! RichieMayor Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 it is possible and quite simple as well. just go to file->export->fbx; make sure you export the frame range desired. you should get the fbx file and a folder containing the vertex cache. re-importing into houdini works fine for me. will test it in 3ds max as soon as i get home. cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
