jont
Un-checking ‘Display Geometry’ hides the selected RBD Object inside a DOP net, but the geo still renders at SOp level. How do I hide a selected RBD Object from part of a DOP network at SOP level so that it doesn’t render with the rest of the sim, but still remains as active with the rest on the network? Thanks
bareja
Hi, to SOP level You can import data from DOPs in few ways: most popular is DOP Import SOP, in this operator you can specify which object, data from DOP You want to import to SOP level. I hope it will help, cheers.
anim
it really depends on how you are exchanging geometry data between SOPs/DOPs if you are using individual objects as RBDs then it's as simple as turn off display flag on the object at scene level if you are importing some part of geometry from SOPs as object you want to hide it just don't import it to SOPs as bareja said or if it's done automatically for you and you don't want to mess with it or it is using other method to get the motion and not actually fetching the geometry then just append blast SOP and delete any group that corresponds to that object
