Samuel Blain
hey everyone, was wondering if there was a way of simulating a dandelion clock in houdini. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to houdini since i come from maya, but houdini just seems to create much more natural dynamic animations. I've been able to create just some bit of geometry to represent the seed head and seeds which are rigid bodys that blow in the wind. where i am having problems is that the seeds just float away unnatural without sticking to the seed head at all. any ideas? thanks all, sam
anim
what do you all have with dandelions today? here is some other today's post, maybe it'll be helpful but no RBD in there (and just very basic POPs, just an example) if you want RBD to stick to head, just use constraints or maybe use passive RBDs(animated in SOPs or at obj level) until they need to be blown not sure if this is the job for RBDs anyway but i don't know your needs but before consider interact POP if you dont want seeds to interpenetrate each other
