Tannins
Just wondering how to get objects (like a simple sphere) to emit light or glow?

Tannins
That first one worked well... how would I instance that sphere to particles?
RontheDon
That first one worked well... how would I instance that sphere to particles? One way would be the good ol' copySOP alternatively you could instance geo at rendertime - really depends on what you need
bunker
The light from geometry works well but it's also very slow IMO. If you want faster lighting, use a pointcloud lookup in a shader. There is a good example here (sparks) : http://ihoudini.blogspot.com/
