Fracture map

Hi all

I have played for a while with the Voronoi fracture in H11. One thing that I miss is the possiblity to create a fracture map and use it to define the initial fracture.

I created an OTL (fracture1.jpg) to import a image file and create a point group from all the black pixels in stone.jpg. That works great, but how do I apply these point to the voronoi fracture node?

it would be great if I could define the fracture pieces from the jpg.

Any suggestions would be great! thanks

Adding more divisions and using finer lines may help too.

so I tried yours, but I could not get it to work.. how do you do that? Can you explain how you build it and what is does.

I tried to work with mine as well, it works.. but its slow, and I can not figure out how to do it in 3D.. right now, the nap is only at one side of the 3d mesh.
