Fracturing imported bgeo file

Hi I have an animation scequence that I need to fracture. I have imported the .bgeo sequence, but when I try to add an RBD obj/ fracture etc to it, it gives me the following error :

'NoneType' object has no attribute 'primAttribs'

I do not get this error when I was testing it out on the primitive objects. I'm new to houdini so maybe there is something that I am missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Fayeez

If you have a sequence of bgeos then I don't think there is an easy way to fracture it because at every frame your geometry is different. Perhaps that is the source of your error.

Appending a timeblend sop does alleviate some problems but not in this case I think.

Is there anything apart from simple geometry in your file? Volumes for example?

Hi thanks for replying. There is just geometry and nothing more right now. I get the error when I load in multiple frames of the .bgeo but when I load in single frames, it seems to work fine. So maybe I am missing something when trying to fracture animated geometry?

Regards,

Fayeez
