ehsan parizi Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 (edited) Hi; I've downloaded the PLE version(or whatever they call it right now) of Houdini 11 on my laptop and there are 2 problems! 1. I can not open the help! 2. this one is really annoying, when I want to see my geometry in viewport, and I select the smooth shaded, it shows nothing! it does render but doesn't show anything in the viewport, I did not have this problem with the previous version of Houdini on this machine! so it looks like a bug to me!(if I open an existing file, it works just fine, but when I make a new file, the problem is still there!) I don't know if it helps but what I did is: -create a new Scene View tab -move camera a bit and return to your old scene view -now both views work correctly It might not work in your case but it's worth a try.
