CSN0309
Hi,guys Just a quick question about Houdini choppywater displacement shader... Is that possible to modify this node on node level? Because i want to make this choppywater shader mix with other noise shader or texture. Currently, this node only offers some limited parameters to play with(by my understand).. so how can i get this node into VEX network so that i can mix it with other displacement shaders or textures? ikarus
well technically you could recreate the shader in vops since you can view the VEX code for it. the functions called "aaWorley" which i assume means anti-aliased worley noise so it cant be much of a stretch to make in vops as for just a direct plug'n'play i dont know though Edited January 18, 2011 by ikarus

Ratman
You can also just make your own and modify the vex code, considering it's a really basic and simple shader. What sort of changes were you looking to make?
CSN0309
Hi~Ratman the basic choppywater displacement shader provides some parameters to play with, but i want to add more detail on it, more variation and more nature....
