locvio Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Have a sphere animating over a surface. Would like the sphere to be a paint brush, with color transferring from the sphere to the surface. Manual control on radius/pressure etc. is ok. Basically want to procedurally attach Paint SOP's Brush location to my sphere.. Things I tried (not quite successfully). 1) Attribute transfer from the sphere to the surface, and then using CHOPs to hold the color. -- this seems to work ok, but when I create falloff on the attributeTransfer node, get hard edges when my sphere stops. 2) Animating "hit location" or "hit uv" on the brush... Doesnt quite seem to animate the way id want it to... (is this the right track).. Appreciate any tips!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
