Macha
I am trying to import a simple FBX animation from 3dsmax (2010 and 2011). I can load the first 3 animated frames but no more (115 in total). I get the following errors in Houdini: <internal> Warning(181): Invalid range specification <internal> Warning(479): Invalid range specification <internal> Warning(479): Invalid range specification <internal> Warning(479): Invalid range specification <internal> Warning(479): Invalid range specification <internal> Warning(399): Invalid range specification <internal> Warning(181): Invalid range specification [...] What can I do? (btw, we can open the same 3dsmax generated fbx file in Maya) Edited January 31, 2011 by Macha
ben
Hi, I just did a few tests : My scene is a simple sphere animated with noise tracks. - It works fine for me with max2010 -> fbx200900 -> H11.0.504 - with max2011 ->fbx2011 -> H11.0.504 it doesn't work (same message as you) - max2011 -> fbx2010 -> H11.0.504 it works (but I still have the message) And yes, all files are ok in maya. Of course at fbx export in max don't forget to check "bake animation". (I assume you work exclusively on PC, because FBX on mac has its own issue) ben Edited January 31, 2011 by ben
