symek Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 VEX shadow matte works by default that way. It sets alpha to 1 in shadowed area. Thus you see white spots on a ship in place of shadows. This shader is meant to works this way to allow adding shadows in comp (though you can set alpha to 1 on its params). If you just need a matte for an object, use "Matte shading" parm on Object->Render->Shading tab. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
