any tutorials?

Hi, can anybody redirect me to a simple tutorial on setting up the enviroment to write a simple "hello world" command in houdini.

Or can anybody write it? It dosent have to be a "plugin coding" tut. just how to set up the compiler, the flags, and all the general housekeeping things needed to make your code interact with houdini. I am just courious as to how its done.

I believe the HDK documentation gives basic info on setting things up.
