breadbox
anyone know how i can create an additive value for a channel / music track so that for example say I would like to take this bass track graph and on every peak have it add to the channel value but never subtract. so that if I were to pipe this into the rotation value of an object it would continue to rotate in the same direction and on every peak it would speed up the rotation. here is a picture of my graph. http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg54/bradonwebb/Channel_operator.png roughly I'd like the output to look something like this. http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg54/bradonwebb/Channel_operator_additive.jpg Edited April 4, 2011 by breadbox

Macha
The expression node (blue) makes it speed up if that's what you want.
Visualante
Convenient that this post should pop up around the same time. It's a great solution for me right now. Up until now I've been using a really obtuse and limited temporary solution, using waves with cycled offset gradients/keys. Thanks very much from me too.
