PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and animate high quality, photo-real VFX using various tools and techniques, including character lighting, set lighting, image-based lighting and HDRI

• Match-move practical scenes, creating both cameras and modeling geometry around which the CG is built

• Work within the show structure and production deadlines to complete all tasks

• Scene setup skills are also required to produce elements

• Work closely with Lighting Artist and Compositors to ensure all effects will work smoothly within the show pipeline

• Take direction from show Leads and TDs

• We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated team players who are looking to start their careers in Feature and Commercial VFX

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Degree in Animation, Arts, Fine Arts or equivalent production experience

• Working knowledge of Maya

• Proficiency in rendering ad shading, ideally VRay and/or Renderman, but Mental Ray will be considered

• This is a generalist position and will be responsible for the creation, execution and rendering of CG within Maya

• Experience with one or more other professional software packages such as Houdini, Nuke, Photoshop, Boujou, PF Track, ZBrush is a plus
