MisterP
Hello, I'm digging into dops and am a little confused as how to have multiple rbd objects each one made of glued chunks. if I use a single rbd object (in dops) internal glue is applied to all chunks regardless of which object they come from. I've put down an example illustrating the manual (and probably wrong) way of doing it where for each object I put down a rbd object with a differnet obj name. Could you help me? I'm hoping there would be a way to embed point attributes with the object name that it should be pick up and assigned to the correspondent group. copy dop apply data and group dop come to mind but I can't figure out how this works. The idea is to pass several prefractured objects at the same frame in the most elegant way possible. So that I could increase the number of incoming geo at will. I would also like the idea of changing the internal glue by passing attributes on a per chunk basis. here's the file, any help much appreciated! Thanks P p.s. I've also prefractured each chunk a second time and called the first fracture pieces parents and the second children. But this sounds like rocket science still.
