SpencerL
Hi, I am building subnetwork inside the VOPs. I would like to create parameters to control subnet if inputs are not connected. I am wondering how to do that ? I checked it is possible because somebody did it, for example Veins VOP Please help select the nodes you want to collapse into a subnet and hit 'shift-c'. you then have to turn it into a digital asset. On the type properties of the digital asset, there is an "Input/Output" tab. That's where you can control what parameters are visible, exist, etc. If you have a look at the type properties of the Veins VOP, you can see all the parameters available under the "Input/Output" tab Edited June 3, 2011 by SpencerL
bareja
Thank you for the reply, I did it what you said and asset bareja_subnet11 doesn't have float parameters in parameter window. I tried to add parameters manualy(Type Properites Window) with the same name like inputs, but it's not working. Please help
bareja
I'm terribly sorry, information from help: Usually it is a good idea to provide a parameter (see the Parameters tab) with the same name as each input. When you do this, if that input does not get connected, the VEX Builder will automatically use the value of the parameter with the same name in place of the input value. It's working, Thank you.
