AdrianLazar
Hi guys, I would like to deform an object using a low poly version that has a soft body simulation in order to optimize the simulation time. So basically I have a raspberry fruit that I want to fall down the table and squish a little. But I think simulating the fruits (5 or 6) would be very time consuming so I was thinking to make a lowrez version that will be simulated and then used to deform the high rez one. Is for the Cook-Off contest here: http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=22574 so I hope it's not against the rules to ask for help Many thanks, -Adrian
mdunkley
Hi Adrian - have a look at either wire capture/deform or the lattice sop set to point mode - i think either of those would get you where you want to go.
