Skinned Particles, stretchy movement looks unreal

Ribbon roller falls on a table, then on a dog and then goes out of shot. I created the ribbon extension in houdini with the help of particles, created a line with add node and skinned it. I got the movement and the ribbon is falling perfectly fine and collisions are good so far. The problem I am having is, the dog is a moving object (shaking his head) and the collision on the ground is "stick to the object." When the dog moves, the ribbon gets stretched rather than moving along to give a natural feel. Please tell me, what shall I do to get the natural feel of the translation object (dog) and the ribbon. Hope I could explain my problem. I am sorry for any unexplained problem.
