practjin
Hi, there~ I have been trying to simulate buoyancy with flip solver. When the object is in the particle fluid, I want to add buoyancy force to the object as setting density lower than fluid particle, but it does not well. In contrast, doing it with sph solver looks good. Of course, in this case, doing with sph solver is correct. but another what I want to do is interaction between different types of fluids particle. unfortunately, sph solver is not doing well in this situation . because, when initial particle interaction with emiting particle, it explosion. In contrast, flip solver looks good. So, my conclusion is that.... is there a method to add buoyancy force with flip solver? ikarus
you can fetch the surface data from the flip object and use that as a field for a buoyancy force should the feedback setting do this automatically though?

I also had tested about it but i had forgot feedback setting. once more I have try this to include feedback setting. and this is doing very well. I solve it with your reply. thanks ~ ikarus
bunker
You just need a gasBuoyancy microsolver and give it a field in "temperature", that will update you vel field.
