GallenWolf
Hey all! Just a bit of fun interfacing houdini to an arduino connected to an adxl335 accelerometer :3 I've included my hip file and .pde file for the curious. Many thanks to Graham Thompson for his past help with python objects, couldn't have done it without his help! thinkinmonkey
Nice result! Is it difficult to let the hardware communicating with Houdini?
GallenWolf
Hi! In this example I'm just sending and reading characters with an established serial object, so it's quite straightforward. I'd imagine for more complex stuff, using the serial port would not be a good idea as houdini does run a fair bit slower in this case. hopbin9
I've seen this done with the Wii controller and Houdini.
GallenWolf
Ah yes, I believe I may have seen that. For me it's not about breaking new boundaries; it's about learning Here's some light jazz to accompany the arduino
