papicrunch
hello, I want to objectMerge the "Vector Field Visualization" that you can find into a smoke node when you activate velocity visualization. In The houdini help they said : The Vector Field Visualization DOP visualizes a Vector Field data. The resulting visualization can allow one to determine how a field is behaving over time, or can even be Object Merged into SOPs to produce the final output. so it s seen possible, but I do not understand how. Someone have an idea ? Thank, Thomas
ehsan parizi
you want to make a geometry from your visualization in DOPs? if so, that's possible.

loudsubs
you can use that velocity field in SOPs as a source for particles, which can give some pretty cool results.
