meshsmooth
Can the apprentice editions export OTLs? I wanted to share the OTLs that I have made and maybe get some feedback on them but I don bend_otl.zip
anakin78z
hmn, maybe I did something wrong, but that hipfile seemed empty. Anyhoo, this is what you want to do: right click your hda and select Type Properties. At the very top you'll see a field 'Save To Library'. Go ahead and point that to an otl file, or type in a name for a new one. All that's left to do now is hit Accept, and you'll have an otl file that you can distribute. Cheers! +Jens P.S. Be aware that using hda's created in apprentice will turn any houdini session non-commercial.

meshsmooth
This ZIP has the .otl file and a file using the bend otl with a chops mouse capture that is made for a tablet. If you have a tablet or are just curious open it and hit play and watch the bendy pen in action. If you don bend_otl_in_use.zip

HDA stands for Houdini Digital Asset. Any sop or object or whatever you create is an HDA, which is then stored in and otl file.
