Other people could vote them up/down, and you could follow people. When you follow people, the "top ideas" list would show the most popular among your social network. You control what you see and learn by who you follow, and the things you do are feed to people who follow you. That would make a cool engine for a feature request website. I just don't know if there is an enough activity in the Houdini community to make it work completely socially. You'd have to mix in it together with their forums and such. I suspect initially it would be between 50-100 people, but I am sure the stuff those people submit would be pretty surplus for the content.
