pbowmar
Just a reminder that VHUG (Vancouver Houdini User's Group) is happening Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012 at Method Studios Vancouver. Please be there before 7pm if you can, it becomes hard to let people in after that. VHUG 2012.01 Meeting: Wed Feb 22th @ Method Studios Vancouver (50 2nd Ave West) - 7:00 p.m. This is not a trick! We have enough for presenters for another year of VHUG for 2012. Thanks to all the volunteer presenters! The first session will be at Method Studios, formerly CIS, formerly Rainmaker. Jacob Clark and Koen Vroeijenstijn (Image Engine) will present Procedural Breaking Glass from The Thing and The Power of Point Clouds, respectively. Doors will be open from 6:45 to 7:00 p.m. sharp (only) - don't be late or you'll be stuck outside trying to call someone's cell to let you in. We're looking forward to getting the VHUGers back together and seeing activity in the group once again. Please spread the word to other local Houdini Users and have them join the Odforce forum or Facebook group. As usual, everyone is encouraged to bring a demo, trick or tip to share in Houdini on a USB stick, and they will likely be some VHUGers going for drinks afterwards nearby. Please let Peter Bowmar or Leo know in advance if you can so they can help you get it loaded and set up though.
