I'm moving to Linux and i'm very interested in its inter-process communication capabilities Using SystemCOP with Gimp-in-command-line would be simply EXTRAORDINARY. It could incredibly expand the possibilities of compositing and enable the animation of Gimp filters (by linking channels to the input parameters of the filter, it could make Gimp-Houdini the equivalent of AfterFX...)
