FR3D
Hello to everyone, My name is Fred and i am quiet new to Houdini, two weeks or so. I am Zbrush/Modo/C4D user, and i decided to level up for good. I tried many of the industrial standard package, but find myself attracted towards Houdini. i bought apprenticeHD, and i am trying to get my company to get the full version for commercial work. I work for TV in Dubai. after looking at some P.quint and cmivfx tutorials and seeing some videos around, i decided to do my own version of the very famous glass breaking with liquid. I guess almost everyone starts there for the project I used: -bullet physics -FLIP -Voronoi fracture (not auto fracture as i like to have full control on my destruction) -There is only 1 sub step, the challenge for me was to make it work without modifying the basic set up, except for the particles separation, and modify the volume collision the less possible. -PBR render i used milk as the water refraction was taking way to long to render on my machine. so here you go, and critics a more than welcome...i will post the file later on for people to tell me if i could have made anything better in my setup. so here you go
