Whatsinaname
Hi, In H12, the sourcing system for FLIP fluids was changed, so instead of a common source node that act pretty much like a source node in POPs there is a new and more advanced system (sourcevolume). With this new system I have no clue how to control emission rate, emission frames etc. because all the parameters one usually finds in a Source node's Birth tab are gone. Has anyone an idea how to control Birth Rate with that new system in H12? Thank you very much!
3dbeing
I ran into the same problem, finally I just used a particleFluid Emitter, which is basically a pops source node.
goldleaf
Here is an example hip file that does this, and has some notes on what I edited. This is roughly what the shelf tools are doing. Also, thereHere is a thread where igor put up a cool file as well, demonstrating viscosity settings: Viscous Teapots There are other threads as well, and don't overlook scouring the documentation! Good luck! source_flip_fluids_example.hip
