Scratch
Hey folks, I'm a Maya user and I'm currently learning/exploring Houdini. While experimenting with the mantra surface material (H12) ran into a texture sliding problem. I animated a sphere by diving into its geometry level (SOP) and apending a transform node which is driven by a expression of $FF in the x position attribute to make the sphere move along this axis. When adding this mantra surface material to the sphere, with displacment activated using the build in noise options, I get texture sliding when I render out this image sequence. How can I prevent this from happening? Meaning where are the controls for texture projection or uv options hiding in Houdini? Thx in advance for your help! Looking forward to your answers! sadhu
Before applying the transformation use rest sop it will solve the texture sliding problem. At geometry level if you press tab and type uv you will see the tools related to uvs.
