Texturing - using alpha channels?

I am bit puzzled when it comes to using alpha channels in Houdini ... I would like to add a white base colour to my model .. and then add a bitmap (with an alpha channel) on top of it ... I am really stuck on this one ... and I find it a bit weird I can't figure this one out myself ...

And .. how do I apply different texture coordinates ... (using the different uv-layers)?
