rendering custom fog with generic mantra shaders

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have created some fog using the volume tools at the sop level using a mix of the isoffset and volume mix sops etc. I am trying to use the generic mantra shaders eg "wispy smoke" and "billowy smoke" and I am trying to add more detail with the noise of the shader..... But the noise doesn't seem to affect the density of my custom fog at all . I have attached a name sop with the name set to "density" .... is there something else I need to do to get the noise of wispy or billowy smoke noise to affect the density? I have attached the hip.

Thanks in advance

Stephen
