sanlin
Hi guys, i just installed houdini apprentice latest build in a new machine in the office, but when i am using it, and about to unwrap uv and then edit uv, i cant use the transform gizmo in the edit uv node. So everytime i want to move vertex, normally i add edit uv node, and then from there on i will use the transform gizmo to edit my uv. But this time, when i click at the gizmo, it just vanished, so i cant rotate even or scaling them. If i want to move my vertices, i have to click right on top of the highlighted vertices, if i click on the gizmo, again it will just vanish. i found this is a bit odd as it should be okay.. i did unwrap uv in houdini several times but never bump into anything like this. any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Shandy
gui
I have the same problem and I think it's opengl related. Try changing the opengl version in preferences->3d viewports.
sanlin
yeah thanks!! yeah i tried changing those as well back to H11 and also i notice that the face normals is not facing the right direction so maybe it affects the gizmo in uv editor. so i did these two steps and so far it is working... that is weird because the graphic card is geforce gtx 580 3gb DDR 5...
