Jordan Walsh
Hey guys, Is there a way of stopping a user from deleting a node? Its a node we want to automatically create to hold some shot settings and It would just be sitting in /out, not part of a digital asset. Thanks! sanlin
Hi! The easiest way i could think of is just put a big sticky note or big network box and colored it red, and type there do not delete.. i dont think somebody will miss that red and big network box that says do not delete... the other way is to create a digital asset and lock it. but you still have to put big warning on the top level as people could still delete that node. these are all i can think of. anim
I believe "opchmod" command will allow you to set permissions to nodes the same way as linux or mac os so you can protect it from being deleted that way if you like http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini12.0/commands/opchmod Edited July 10, 2012 by anim
