goldleaf Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 Here is a little demo of a shelf script and python sop to offer a different way to work with fracture objects, by treating them as rbd points: http://cartojellybeans.blogspot.com/2012/07/rbd-fracture-points.html This tool came about because storing fractured geometry is a big impact on hard disks/networks, and I perfer the per-point flexibility of rbd point objects anyway. The post has links to a demo video, and the current code for the shelf tool and the sop. As I polish and improve it, I'll update this thread. Holler with any ideas you might have!
