Xsiv
Hi All, I have been trying to get vector velocities from my geometry and apply them to a smoke pyro effect. This scene seems to be working. I looked at the example that is provided with Houdini and they have used PScale. I thought, well if I create smaller spheres at the bottom and larger as you go higher, I could get a gradual swirling effect. I cannot see how to use PScale in this fashion. I just used a random distribution of size and don't know how to hook up the PScale to work. Anyone mind taking a look-see and let me know what I am missing? Thanks Chris geo_fieldforce_velTest.hip
Xsiv
I figured it out. Don't use the sopgeo node - use the sopvectorfield node into the fieldforce. Make sure to sample via points and the default operation = set always. The big one is to set the force attribute to the proper vector. Is the example I used it is "v". Thanks Chris
