EgorTomskiy
Hello! I`m a character animator and I`m new to Houdini. I understand that there is no animation layers like in Maya or Max. So I try to use CHOPS May anyone explain me how to add an animation on cycle animation? For example, I have a walk cycle and I want my character to turn his head in one moment, but not to do it in cycle. Thank you!
edward
"Scope" all the channels you want to cycle in the Channel Editor. Now right-click on the PLAYBAR and choose Motion Effects > Cycle (or Cycle with Offset). Or, you can take all your channels, put them into a channel group, right click on the channel group, and then apply the Motion Effect. This will create a Channel CHOP, move all your channels into it, and then have them export back to the original place. This means that to modify your keys after this, you will need to do it in the Channel CHOP.
