Guest xionmark Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Hi Folks, I need a quick answer on this but haven't found anything detailed while looking through the various Linux forums on the web and thought maybe someone here might know. Basically, I'm wanting to install RH9 on the same machine as I run RH7.3 & Win-XP Pro, but I ran into something a little confusing during the install. Basically, without doing a lot of research, I wasn't sure about the partition layout, boot sectors, etc. Will RH9 nuke my RH7.3 install? From what I can tell, there's a problem in setting a root partition, and RH9 wants to make a /boot partition, which I don't have for RH7.3.
