Orbolt xRay shader

This shader is beautiful in the example file but when I add it to a scene in my own files it renders without any noise? I open a basic set-up (cam, 2 area lights, Mantra), add a teapot, add the x-ray shader from the asset browser and assign.

Would love to use it in a project I'm working on now but just need to be able to apply it.

The noise is coming from the rest sop in the example file. If you append a rest sop to the teapot and wire it in to both inputs, you will see the noise in the render. At a radius of 1 the noise will be fairly low frequency, increase the teapot radius to 8, in order to see the same as the example file.
