FromHell
I have tried to use SSS_PCloud for multiple scattering but there seems to be en error. Is there a method to fix it?
FromHell
Does anyone have the same issue with H12?
nord3d
Yes, same with Physical SSS VOP, until I turn off Filter Multiply Scattering. Also, I set some little value in Auto Size Factor, for example 0.01, otherwise it is too big and too slow. PS: But with Surface Model, it works without any hack. FromHell
I have tried the physical SSS Vop, it seems to work, the only thing that is not working is when I try to load a point cloud, that was created with sss_scatter Sop(which is now working). For some reason it only uses the point clouds that are created by the SSS Vop. Nando
this issue is been there with all the h12 versions, the solution is simple - dive into the sss pointcloud node and u should see some errors in the chain. what's happening is its missing its attributes name. just copy the same names of the attribute (Tarea and PTarea) in the attribute create nodes. that should fix this problem. i have attached a hip file. just in case scatter_solve.hipnc Edited October 18, 2012 by fernansha
