Weird SSS PC Issues

I'm having a few issues with Point Clouds and SSS.

First of all it seems that all I need is two vectors:

O[0] == Primitive Number

S[0,1] == ST Coordinates

I've tried creating these myself but just get white renders.

But anyway, this is the weird bit...

Create a sphere, light, mantraROP and mantra material.

Turn on MultiScatter SSS, set it to write PC.

Render

Turn it to read pc

Render

Results look right...

Go into SOPs, read in the pc, ROPOutput to a new pc (not changes).

Change shader to look at new pc file.

DIFFERENT RESULTS! *Same attributes & values!!!

Can anyone explain this behaviour?
