dark_cry
i need something like this https://vimeo.com/42830959 Hey, you can scatter points into the volume, and project your image onto these points, then in volumeVop read back these points as pointcloud and create other vector field and transfer CD attrib to this vector field, then you can just make it kind a diffuse field. If your'e similutaing the smoke, you can advect this point and projected image will "swim" less
Annon
Try this: http://www.cmivfx.com/tutorials/view/504/Houdini+3D+Galaxy+Creation+Effects

zhyravetsky
may be a dump question but if a have already simulated volume how can i add cd atrib to it?
rafaelfs
Not dumb at all. You can make 3 copies of your density field and rename the fields to Cd.x, Cd.y and Cd.z respectively. There you have a Cd vector field to color your smoke. Cheers
