How to rotate each point in Vopsop?

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask you about a Vopsop Sop.

As you can see attached file, I made spheres rotating each X-axis.

But I want to control a Vopsop Sop instead of Copy Sop.

So I have tested in vopsop with Transform Matrix vop, but fail.

How to do in Vopsop Sop append a vopsop after copy sop?

Please let me know.

Hi Bloomendale,

Thanks for sharing precious your time.

I am glad to hear from you so soon.

I am looking at your attached file, but I can't understand fully at once.

Specially There are first sight about Quaternion and QuaternionToMatrix3 VOP.

To understand your file, I have to study math for more.

It is difficult node in vopsop.^^

-----------------------------pass time for 3hours ------------------------------------

I guess you solve this problem with P, N, up, cross, and Quaternion mainly.

To explore your hip file, I am happy. Have a great day.

If you possible, I would like to heard what your logic.^__^

Your handwriting explanation help so much for me.

It is a solution to make rot axis! OK, I am able to understand.

Thank again.

I´m glad I could help! If you want to mimic bloomendale´s setup, instead of using the vector pointing up (0, 1, 0), use a facet sop computing normals and use it in the vop sop (in another input).
