I simpely shattered a glass, but finally I export to Maya the shading it's not correct, Like Images... so Any one tell what can i do? I don't know what happen to my scene? acey195 Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Have you explicitly generated normals on you Houdini model? By using a facet node for instance. you can check by using the middle mouse button on the final node. is should say 'N' somewhere in the point or vertex attributes. jim c Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 In your glass geo object node, there should be a SOP call dopimport or something like that - this is what's getting the stuff back from the simulation. AFTER this node, add a Facet SOP (right click on the node and look for Facet). Once you've added this node, turn on post computer normal, and maybe pre-compute normals (I don't remember if you need one or both). This should fix the problem. Then save this out to disk.
