How to use Point Alpha to multiply with surface color in Mantra render

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am trying to utilize point alpha as a multiplying factor for final render color+opacity.

Like, [rendered RGBA = surface color * texture map * point alpha]

The intention is to completely mask out parts of geometry in mantra based on alpha value at each point.

Also, the alpha values are being manipulated using DOP.

Point Alpha seems to be working fine, as being output in the Viewport, but I can't seem to figure out how to channel it in mantra output.

[Please see attached file]

Thanks
