merlion72
In this tutorial Jeff Wagner(sideFx) shows how to destroy a building. One of the steps is to import and lock glue convex at geo level. In the tutorial it was done with one or two clicks and I can't figure out how. I unlock it and can't bring back. How do I do that? Filipp Elizarov
If you'd like to lock your node just click LMB (Left mouse bottom ) to the second flag - second from left side of the node it will be colored in red color. If you'd like to unlock your networrk above this node you should click 1 more time to this flag it will be colored in base grey color.Or if you'd like to modify glue pieces network you should click RMB on this node and click alow editing of contents it will give you a chance to modify glues pieces network.By default Node name colored in blue it means it's a digital asset and locked right now for any modifications , after you will click on alow editing of contents it will be colored red after some modicications you can lock your node by set red flag on it. Think this will help you. Edited April 15, 2013 by Filipp Elizarov
merlion72
So the problem was in Houdini itself. It was a bug. Houdini didn't show glue constrains. Thanks anyway) Might save sometime to someone.
nFrame
this issue is somewhat fixed in the latest production build. However, now the constraints won't go away. and I seem to have come across an issue between the cluster strength on the glue cluster sop, and the glue constraint network dop strength. I'm unable to put my thumb on the relationship between the two. they seem to cancel each other out almost. Has anyone else noticed a similar issue?
